Adventures that never end!

On Friday, all students had to leave their families and go to the airport. We had to be at the airport at 6,o´clock so we decided to go to shopping. At the airport we found a very friendly taxi driver, who was ready to take us to the mall.

We are going shopping!!!!!

The shopping centre looked like a labyrinth, so only smart ones could shop :D
Finally we found the shops we were looking for. The first store was New-Yorker.
We found a lot of beautiful things there.

After an hour of trying on clothes and deciding what to buy and what not, we decided to go to the checkout. When I (Gerli) started to pay, the salesman told me something that I couldn't understand. I asked him to repeat that sentence in English. He couldn't understand so he called another salesperson who told me that I had entered the wrong pin code, even though I had not, So now my card had been blocked.
I called my bank immediately, but unfortunately the bank was so busy I couldn't talk to anyone. I had to transfer my money to Stella's bank account and I

thought that yeahh I have money now!

but you wish, I had to wait for the money for almost 5 hours, so I was already ready to give up, BUT THEN, when we only had 15 minutes left MY MONEY HAD ARRIVED!! I
was so happy that I wanted to buy the whole store!!!

but this wasn't all.

A new surprise was already knocking on our door. At the checkout it showed, that Stella´s card had a limit. I was so depressed, that I couldn't buy those beautiful things, but there was nothing to do.

We sat in a coffee shop and we began to go to the airport and we were running out of time, but then Stella looked at her account and the money WAS G O N E ....
We ran to the store again to show them that they had taken the money. At first they didn't want to give us anything, but after calculating and discussing they gave me the things I wanted to buy. When I walked out of the store, the security held me down. They found pants with a security element still attached to it. Of course, I had bought those and after showing the receipt the security let me go. At first we had to take a taxi to go to the airport, but instead we decided to go by bus. So much cheaper :)

Waiting for the bus

At the airport we saw a man, who was having his bachelor party.

He didn´t mind taking a photo with us :)

At the Hungarian airport we didn't have to wait very long. We flew to Helsinki and then to Estonia.

I thought that suprises are over, but no. I found this at home...

An additional something to remember Hungary by :D

Thursday, a little piece of our trip

http://five.flash-gear.com/npuz/puz.php?c=v&id=4356807&k=6780795

This is a puzzle of our Thursday. Put those pieces together, and you will not regret!
On Thursday we saw Hungarian students performing. They danced and sang to us. One girl sang in Estonian, it moved our hearts. After that we did some group work, in every group there was supposed to be one person from each country. In groups we learned each other´s languages a little bit. It was funny to pronounce different languages.

After that it was time for presentations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cHIF3kc3Ts You can watch it, our presentation begins from 1:09:22 :).

Our day ended with carnival. We dressed up like Kadris. The start of the Carnival was promising. The Hungarian students made a show about every participating country. About Estonia they made an Estonian top hits show. We were disappointed a little bit, because those ,,hits,, aren't really hits in Estonia and when we saw this show it made feel us embarrassed.

And now, our mandatory food picture and picture of us.

Bread it or don´t eat it!
Hungarians do love their food to be breaded :)

Food, food is everywhere...

Wednesday started with visiting schools.  There were 3 schools, which were so little compared to our school.
We found out that 7-10 year olds can speak English better than some of us :O

In every school we got to eat snacks., which were made by students and were delicious.
After visiting schools we went sightseeing in Gyömrö.

And later of course our lunch was again full of surprises and dishes we didn't like so much. Like this fish soup...

After lunch everyone had free time with their hosts, but we (Gerli and Stella) and Maarja went out together with our hosts to Tiki bar,

shopping and walking at Gyömrö lake.

In the evening there was a party made for the students, which was full of big laughs,  tears and of course FOOD.

We got to laugh at other students from different countries trying to pronounce our names. Maarja was Mörja Mots or Marja Mets, Gerli-Maigret was Görli-Margaret or Helen. Some of our hosts got a little bit too much to drink and went a little too much over line. :( And after that she was surprised why she got dumped... What a sad story...

At the end of the night everything was okay and everyone was fine. :)

Best wishes from Stella and Gerli!

Say it in English

Yesterday we had a sightseeing tour in Budapest. We saw Hero´s Square,

 the House of Parliament

In front of the Parliament:

It is said Estonian women are beautiful. They are not wrong.

and we had a wonderful lunch at Lancelot Restaurant...or not so wonderful. The Lancelot Restaurant was full of surprises. We saw an old wrinkled stripper man who swallowed  fire, but there´s more.... Thank God we didn´t see him in our dreams.

Have you ever eaten soup out of a bun? I don´t think so. Well, we did - however, it looked better than it tasted.

After that we had a very big food platter, but we had to eat it with a spoon, knife and fingers, no forks were there.

XOXO
